Our Business

We've been a part of Rahway for a long time.  From the first customer that we ever quoted to the customers that we have yet to meet, our goal has always been to give our customers the best possible coverages and service possible.

Who We Are

Raymond F. Eggers Agency was started in 1933 on Barnett Street in Rahway,  on Raymond F. Eggers' front porch. 

12/28/1958-Raymond,Sr. accepts an award from Aetna Insurance Group for 25 years continous service.

When Raymond's eldest son, also Ray, began helping out, he decided that he wanted to sell insurance too, so he started Ray Eggers Agency on Irving Street.

After many years, Raymond, Sr passed away, and Ray, Jr. combined the agencies, by now located in the first floor of his home on W. Milton Avenue, where we remain to this day.

 Current location, the way it looked in the early 1960s. 

By 1995, Ray, Jr was ready for retirement, so his eldest assumed control of the agency.

Today, Karen (Eggers) Baird, along with Valerie Ponzo, (Office Manager) continues the tradition begun by her Dad & Grandpa, of offering friendly, professional insurance services to Rahway and the surrounding areas.
